DAVID CROCKETT TO DISCUSS SUSTAINABILITY AND GREEN AGENDA AT MAY MONTHLY MEETING
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 6) – David Crockett, Director of Chattanooga’s Office of Sustainability, will address his office’s mission at Chattanooga Tea Party’s monthly meeting May 17 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Century Club Banquet Hall, 3221 Harrison Pike (off Access Road, just south of the Highway 153-Amnicola Highway intersection, next to The Lighting Gallery).
Mr. Crockett was selected by Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield to lead the newly-created Office of Sustainability in December 2009. He previously served on the city council for 11 years, representing District 3. Mr. Crockett is a longtime supporter of sustainability and environmentalism, having attended the United Nation’s 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
