City Councilman Larry Grohn will be the Chattanooga Tea Party’s featured speaker this week on October 16 at 6:30pm.
Thursday evening’s meeting will feature a three-part presentation from Councilman Grohn’s including:
An update on key Chattanooga legislation and issues that the council has faced or with which they will be dealing.
A discussion with Councilman Grohn to learn of his progression from private citizen, to citizen lobbyist / activist, to elected official. Much can be learned from Councilman Grohn’s experience and how other citizens can better engage in their government, whether it’s school board, city council, county commission or others.
A time of question and answers from attendees at the meeting for Councilman Grohn.
The meeting will take place at 6:30pm at The Century Club Banquet Hall, 3221 Harrison Pike (off Access Road, just south of the Highway 153-Amnicola Highway intersection, next to The Lighting Gallery).
